• Ohio and Michigan came together and everybody wins

Seldom do you hear the two words together without thinking, opposing sides. But, on December 2, Ohio and Michigan united to become one! Even the weather played nice! It was a beautiful day!  The bride Laura, a nurse from Michigan and her groom, Brian, a doctor from Ohio, planned an awesome day and it didn't disappoint! Family and friends gathered in attendance from all over the country and the world. Not only were California and Florida in the house, but the groom’s sister traveled all the way from Germany and the bride’s friend Sarah came from down under in Australia. The dedicated friend and bride were once stationed together in Afghanistan as trauma nurses. Now that's love and friendship! The bridal party looked so amazing, especially the bride who was stunning wearing her mother’s wedding gown as she walked arm and arm with her father down the aisle to her handsome groom. Not a dry eye in the house! The reception that followed was truly elegant! Gorgeous deep rich reds and golds capped the romantic evening reception at Top of the Market. The draping flowers from Furst Florist made the room warm and inviting. The Father’s speech, the First Dance.... everything was perfect! Guests were entertained with a live 7-piece band, the Bluewater Kings, who played all night and made for the longest, craziest rendition of “Car Wash” that I’ve ever witnessed! In a nod to the bride’s love of all things donuts, and in lieu of wedding cake, the guests were treated to a delicious Donut Bar featuring donuts from Stan The Donut Man. Suffice to say, no one missed the cake! So many great moments working with this awesome couple to have their dream wedding come to life. We feel honored to have been a small part of such a big day. We couldn’t have done it without our great partners. A special thank you to Emily and her crew at Top if the Market for a seamless night. The food was delicious and your attention to detail, awesome! Thank you to Loann and Furst Florist for nailing the look and feel the couple was hoping for. We can always count on you; you out did yourself again! Thank you to the wonderful photographers, Tracy and Ben with Carly Short Photography. The pictures are amazing and really capture the incredible joy of the day. Pendra and Viva La Strings, the music was on point and wonderful. Thank you. A special thank you to Sew Bridal by Marilou for your help transforming the bride’s gown to make it her own. It was perfect! Thanks to Sha Terra Jenkins and her team who made all the ladies look amazing and to Prime Time Party Rental, Carillon Brewing Company, Stan The Donut Man and Bluewater Kings as well. Thank you to everyone who contributed to making the day so special for our clients!

    May 21, 2016 Bella Villa

Leading-up to the wedding, it rained nearly every day.  Projections were for a wash-out early in the week and so the tent went up on very damp ground and we held our breath.  The bride and groom were anxious but as the day grew nearer and the venue began to take shape, everyone's spirts lifted and we were poised for the Best Day Ever!  A slight drizzle came down right before 5:30.  Then, as if by chance, (or a little help from above),  a peak of sun came out and the bride began her walk in arm with her father who was beaming with pride.  How could he not?  She was stunning!  Simply breathtaking!

Given the challenges, not all the details went as planned, (they rarely do at weddings).  In the end it all came together. It truly was a MAGICAL day nonetheless!  Not the rain or any other blip was going to keep this couple from having the "Party" they desired.  And oh, what a party it was !!!  From her brother Luke,  serenading her down the aisle on guitar, the personalized wine to the Italian wedding dance,  (the Tarantella),  to the bride's friend Melissa,  belting out the incomparable Etta James' "At Last" , to the 12 Piece AMAZING Band,  the homemade Italian pasta and of course Boccee Ball, to the little nieces and nephews floating across the dance floor in utter delight, it was simply a beautiful day!  It was the BEST DAY!!

For me personally, it was a very special client.  The bride is my niece and goddaughter.  She quite simply, is my heart! <3.  And so for just a brief moment, I was picturing that little girl who once called me Beffy and tried on all my fancy dresses and floated across my living room floor......I thought then, that was the best day ever!  I never knew it could get better.  So many best days with that little girl, that young woman .... My heart is so full of happiness and pride for her.  I am so thrilled that this princess found her prince.  He's her heart now and they have an amazing future ahead of them.  May 21, 2016 was just the beginning of many Best Days together!

Thank you to our amazing vendors especially:   Cady Vance of Floral V Designs for the gorgeous flowers and centerpieces,  Scott Levine and his team (Morgan, Beverly & Sarah) with Entertainment Unlimited Events, for the stunning lighting, backdrops, swags and all the hardwork to make the tent so elegant, Cake, Hope & Love, for a delicious cake, our dear friends, Kim and Joe Warner with Kimberly Elaine photography,  for coming all the way from Orlando to capture the moments and details of the day so personally, Dave Hendricks with Daytonceremony.com for such a personal and professional touch to the wedding service, Prime Time Party Rental and to Steve and his Band,  Shin Sings.  They just elevated the evening to pure perfection!  Thank you  to everyone who helped to make this day so special for my beautiful niece and her husband.  A special thank you to my best friend and sister, Cheryl (also the mother of the bride), for everything you did to to help set-up, organize and mostly,  go above and beyond when I really needed you. And, to my amazing husband Joe.  What can I say?  You always come through for me when I need you.  No one worked harder for me and did more than you two.  You are the best! <3

All my love to you Stacey & Nate

  • Dayton Children's Donor Gala - 10/23/15

All in the Details Events was pleased to have been the event coordinator for the recent Donor Gala on 10/23/15 at Dayton Children's Hospital.  The event was hosted onsite at Children's where we transformed the lobby and cafeteria into a fun party atmosphere. The Gala was a thank you to the major donors who have supported the efforts in constructing the new Dayton Children's Tower due to open in 2017. The new world-class tower will transform care for local children and their families.  What could be more worthwhile!  For  more information, check out:  transformcare.childrensdayton.org.

The event was a huge success!   We could not have done it without the support of some amazing vendors.  A special thank you to Jennifer and her crew at Elite Catering.  The food was beautiful and tasted amazing as always!  The cheesecake on a stick and Beef Wellington's were just a few of the many favorites.  The Shrimp wall greeted guests as they dove into the succulent shrimp surrounded by cocktail sauce and lemon curd.  Amazing!  The Signature Cocktails were a hit as were all the appetizers.  Every detail planned and focused on our theme and colors for the event.  Great job Jennifer!  A huge thank you to Loann with Furst Florists who never disappoints!  She captured the "Reaching New Heights" and building theme and colors with architectural trusses, dynamic centerpieces and metal accents.  But, by far the highlight and most "buzzed about" element was the impressive live "Reaching New Heights" floral logo!  Everyone was blown-away by the likeness and beauty and it was a definite focal point of the night.  Thank you again Loann,  for bringing the event to life!  A special thank you to Scott and his team from Entertainment Unlimited Events for the beautiful draping and lighting that transformed the spaces into and elegant and fun atmosphere!  Thank you to Abby and Prime Time Rental for providing all the items that made the space comfortable.   We appreciate all you do!  Cliff with Markeys made sure the event was captured and streamed live for the guests. Thank you for all you did!  To the great photographers, Cathy and Mark Lyons as well as my lifelong friend and talented photographer, John Beckman, for making sure to capture everyone who came down the Red Carpet.  All three of you did an amazing job and we are very thankful!  Thank you to Laura from Bellbrook Chocolates who provided awesome chocolate favors!  Thank you Shawn Huey and All the Right Tunes  for providing the lively jazz throughout the venue.  You're the best!  To Alicia and her team from Parking Solutions, thank you for providing a first rate Valet experience for our guests!  To my assistant, Alex Korin, for working diligently all day and evening to insure everything flowed and happened on time.  You're a rockstar!  Thanks too, to Jenna and Harmony for your added assistance with giftbags and chocolates.  To my great husband who always supports my endeavours no matter where they take us;  you're my hero.  Thank you to all the volunteers and to Terry, one of most loyal friends a girl could ever have.   <3
